Research Directions

1. The sustainability of coastal marine ecosystem: the theories and methodology of monitoring coastal marine ecosystom and fisheries; the interactions between marine ecosystem and fishery management; the study of ecosystem-fishery-commerce-management model.

2. The interactions between marine acquaculture and the natural ecosystem: how does human activities affect the natural ecosystem in the short-term and the long-term; how does climate change affect marine aquaculture and the productivity of natural ecosystem.

3. Natural processes, anthropogenic influences, and marine management polices: the effects of marine management polices on the environment of marine resources and social economy.
