From August 24th to 26th, 2021 freshmen of SOO arrived on campus one after another, completed various registration tasks, and officially started their university life. There are a total of 24 freshmen from 6 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.

On the afternoon of the 25th, Mr. Li Wei, Chair of SOO Council, and Mr. Xu Yan who is in charge of student affairs, went to the student dormitory to visit the 2021 freshmen and to answered relevant policies and precautions during the beginning of the semester. Mr. Li Wei and Mr. Xu Yan encouraged the students to integrate into university life as soon as possible and to explore their potential. Students were suggested to earnestly complete the basic courses of the freshman year to lay a good foundation for future scientific research work.
