On the morning of March 8, Shool of Oceanography (SOO) held a meeting to announce the appointment of vice dean. University Party Committee standing Committee, executive vice president Xi Lifeng, organization member Deng Ying, SOO leadership members and teacher respresentatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Deng Ying.

Deng Ying read out the appointment decision and announced that Professor Zhou Lei was appointed vice dean of SOO.
