Secondment
• 2019.12-2020.02 Took part in Korean Antarctic Research Expedition and deployed ApRES and GPS on Thwaites Glacier, West Antarctica to detect glacier change and basal melting related to warm water intrusion.
• 2019.10 Conducted fieldwork on Jakobshavn Glacier, West Greenland and deployed GPS, and ApRES to observe glacier changes and ocean-ice interaction in Ilulissat icefjord.
• 2019.08 Conducted fieldwork on Helheim Glacier, East Greenland and deployed GPS, ApRES, and Terrestrial Radar Interferometry (TRI) to observe glacier changes and ocean-ice interaction within Helheim fjords.
• 2018.12-2019.02 Took part in Korean Antarctic Research Expedition and deployed ApRES and GPS close to grounding line of David Glacier, Antarctica to detect basal melting and its relation to tide and glacier dynamics.
• 2017.08-2017.09 Conducted fieldwork on Jakobshavn and Helheim Glacier, Greenland and deployed GPS, ApRES and TRI to observe glacier changes and CTD, XCTD and Mooring in adjacent fjords to observe ocean changes.
• 2017.01-2017.03 Took part in Korean Antarctic Research Expedition and deployed ApRES and GPS on Drygalski ice front, Antarctica to detect local tide, strain rate and ice thickness changes.
• 2009.10- 2010.04 Took part in the 26th Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition, from Great Wall Station to Zhong Shan Station. Major task was to measure spectrum of blue ice, snow, rock, moss and lichen to provide validation data for land use/cover classification.
